The Melbourne Arbitration Symposium is a half-day symposium on arbitration that will provide an opportunity for attendees to hear from a wonderful line-up of speakers on the latest developments and trends in arbitration. This year the theme of the symposium is 'Managing Mega Disputes'.
The symposium will include a keynote address and two panel discussions.
The keynote address will be provided by The Hon. Wayne Martin AC KC, Francis Burt Chambers and 39 Essex Chambers (topic TBC).
The panel discussions are as follows:
Panel 1: Complex Mega Disputes: Arbitration to the Rescue?
This panel will explore how to manage mega disputes, through arbitration and other means of dispute resolution.

A drinks reception generously hosted by Allens will follow the discussion.
Attendance for non-SoCLA members is $50. However, we are pleased to confirm that attendance for SoCLA members has been discounted to $35.
All profits generated by the event will go to towards the ACICA Education Fund, which supports the ACICA Pacific Islands Practitioner Scholarship Program.
