You are invited to a backstage tour of the Sydney Opera House Renewal Program.

The Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most famous buildings, a UNESCO world heritage listed site and masterpiece of creative genius. Within the vaulted sails and the precinct, it houses not just a single venue, but seven internal performance venues, a creative learning centre, function areas and a lively outdoor entertainment area.

The Sydney Opera House recently completed its ‘Decade of Renewal’, the largest capital works investment since it opened in 1973, and you are invited to tour the renewed spaces and learn about the projects.

When: 19 June 2025. 7:15am for a 7:30am start.  The tour is expected to finish at 9:00am.

Where: Bennelong Point, Sydney

Dress Code: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing for walking

• The project is not a construction site but there will be walking involved and a number of stairs.
• Photography is only permitted in front of house areas – tour personnel will provide guidance on when photos can be taken.
• Parking is available at the nearby Wilson’s carpark, or it is a short walk from Circular Quay trains and ferries.
